Roshaz Software Limited provide a highly practical approach to solving real engineering problems using finite element analysis. CAD data can be imported via IGES, STL or VRML. Powerful automatic geometry clean up tools remove slither geometry and other unwanted facets of CAD operations. The software was written by engineers to apply realistic boundary conditions to models without the use of rigid body elements, wagon wheels, spiders and so on, which are all highly artificial and can produce misleading results. Loads may be applied using built in or user supplied empirical formulas to describe both surface normal and in surface traction pressure variations. Roshaz is unique in providing tools for the most common loading scenarios. Roshaz comes with a static linear solver, but it also integrates seamlessly with the very excellent freeware Calculix solver plus commercial solvers like Abaqus, Lusas and Nastran. The post processor includes everything you would expect of a top quality system plus in depth tools like the section force and moment evaluator, which integrates stresses on a planar cut through the model to produce a report on the forces and moments acting on that section. Contours of user supplied equations which can mix node coordinates with nodal result attributes may be displayed. Nodal values from any source such as fatigue damage or cycles to failure can also be displayed. Engineers will recognise the true value of this program.
